Console applies * Italian mural, carved gilt with stylized foliage decor, vintage early twentieth century.
This console is in good condition and is very decorative.

* Called "consoles of wall", the consoles are often placed against wood paneling, a pier, between two windows or two doors. Under Napoleon III, is seen to revive the important plant ornaments consoles. (Excerpt from Dicionnaire Larousse antiques and flea market).
