Sprinkling spoon in finely chiseled sterling silver, perforated spoon in the shape of a stylized shell, decorated with a medallion on the neck, MInerve punch (1st title) and PB for Philippe Berthier, Napoleon III nineteenth century.

The workshop of Philippe Berthier, prolific silversmith of the Second Empire, is located at the beginning of its activity at 23 rue aux Ours, then 63 Beaufort passage and finally 21 rue Quincampoix. He insculated his first punch "P a garden well B" on June 1, 1841; the stamp is crossed out on June 28, 1845. A second punch "P a woodcock B" is insculpted June 5, 1847 and the same punch is again insculpted June 20, 1851. The production of Philippe Berthier consists of tastevins, tureens, cups to coffee, tea and chocolate with their saucers, timbales, several types of spoons such as, among others, glass spoons with pillon water, etc. (see website silvercollection)
