* The company founded in 1845 by E. Tonnelier was acquired in 1882 by Louis Ravinet (1854-1925). In 1891, Charles d'Enfert (1865-1960) joined forces with Louis Ravinet and the company took the name of Ravinet d'Enfert. Maison Ravinet d'Enfert is located in the former Hotel de Caumartin, 83 rue du Temple in Paris 3éme, in the heart of the Marais. The house specializes in silverware and silverware. For silver metal cutlery, the nickel silver models are manufactured at the Mouroux cutlery factory created in 1895 by Louis Ravinet in Seine et Marne. In 1923, Louis Ravinet and Charles d'Enfert entrusted their sons André Ravinet and Jacques d'Enfert (1900-1982) with the management of the business by establishing a limited liability company. The house exhibits regularly and receives numerous distinctions: gold medal at the Lyon exhibition in 1894 and the Brussels universal exhibition in 1897. It is also present at major exhibitions of 1900, 1925 and 1937, it obtains a silver medal in Brussels in 1958.
