Milk jug in Russian silver finely chiseled decorated with cherubs and fauns among flowering plant vases surrounded by scrolls, fluted body, punch Moscow Date 1831 wooden handle, XIXth century.
This pot is in good condition. The interior is gilt. Hallmark 84 St Georges letter dated 1831 and Moscow unknown silversmith punch (Moscow, 1831-1834);
A note: the snare is broken and will pick up, small slit in money below (but the pot is sealed), some tiny shocks including the foot, micro-scratches and wear of time, see photos. (red arrows)
